Our Founder's Story
Jannik Hansen is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Jamaica United. After marrying his Jamaican wife, Jannik developed a deep connection to Jamaica and its people. Witnessing the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa, he felt compelled to take action.
With years of experience building businesses and leading teams, Jannik knew he could make a difference. Rather than donate to large organizations with administrative overhead, he created Jamaica United to provide direct relief to families in need—with complete transparency and zero middlemen.
